GOETEC, the University of Kent Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Cyber Research and East Kent Services are to run a practical cyber security event in July 2019 for public sector IT professionals.
The focus of this workshop will be to simulate an Enterprise level hacking attack penetrating a lab server environment. Teams for “attackers” will attempt to break given systems. The workshop will aim at increasing the skills of the network defenders by exposing them to a range of penetration testing techniques.
The test, lab and results debrief will be developed by EK Services. The workshop will be supported by staff and students from KirCCS and EKS.
