Collaboration is at the heart of GOETEC’s mission and we aim to work closely with organisations regionally and nationally to advance this mission. Through collaborations we support our community enabling them to implement meaningful digital transformation to deliver their corporate objectives.

Canterbury Christ Church University

For more than 50 years, Canterbury Christ Church University has been a big part of the Kent community, providing education which makes a real and positive difference to people’s lives. Inspired by our Church of England foundation, the University’s mission is to pursue excellence in higher education: transforming individuals, creating knowledge, enriching communities and building a sustainable future.

University of Greenwich

The University of Greenwich is an ambitious and diverse community who take great pride in the institution’s 130-year history within the higher education sector. EKC Group

As a family of six community-based colleges across East Kent, our mission is to play a leading role for East Kent in developing the economic and social prosperity of the communities we serve. At the heart of everything we do is community. Ensuring that EKC Group plays a leading role in contributing to the economic and social prosperity for the communities which we serve is core to our mission.

MidKent College

MidKent College is at the heart of our community with a serious commitment and drive to help students, local businesses and the local economy thrive and grow through high quality education and training. We have two campuses, one in Maidstone and the other in Medway, and are committed to being a vibrant and supportive part of our local communities.

Kent County Council

Kent County Council governs the county of Kent in England. It is the upper tier of elected local government, below which are 12 district councils, and around 300 town and parish councils. The county council has a commitment to digital transformation as outline in its Strategic Delivery Plan.

Working in Partnership

Our contributions with Kent Public Services Network (KPSN), Kent Connects (part of the Strategic Partnerships arm of Kent County Council), JISC, UCISA and other organisations enable us to deliver a robust service to our members.

JISC – JANET

JISC provides digital solutions for UK education and research. Our vision is for the UK to be the most digitally-advanced higher education, further education and research nation in the world. We provide UK universities and colleges with shared digital infrastructure and services, such as the superfast Janet Network.

KPSN

The Kent Public Service Network is a regional PSN providing high quality connectivity to all areas of Kent and Medway, increased ICT capacity, resilience and security to deliver faster, more accessible, and better public services. It is a not-for-profit partnership governed by 27 partner organisations including Kent County Council, Medway Council as well as numerous borough and district councils and health organisations across Kent.

KENT CONNECTS

The Kent Connects Partnership was established in 2002. It brings together public sector organisations in Kent to share knowledge and work together on IT and digital projects. Kent Connects works with the Partners, including GOETEC, to understand their business needs and provide events, workshops and meetings to support the adoption of new technologies and better ways of working.

UCISA

Founded in 1992, ucisa is the member-led professional body for digital practitioners in education. Open and inclusive, we work together to use our collective technical knowledge and digital expertise to help transform teaching, learning and research by supporting operational efficiency and an excellent student experience.
